Description
Art and Music 6-8 is a harmonious combination of two half-year courses! The school year begins with Art in September. Students will experiment with a wide variety of art mediums, learning the principles of color, light, composition, and design. In the process, students will discover that the Arts were created by God to enrich our lives and provide us with a creative outlet to honor and glorify Him. Art from around the globe will be studied as students discover how visual art has changed and developed since the creation of man. In January, the students leave the realm of the visual Arts to focus their study on the wonder and beauty of Music. Students will learn the story of music as it has developed throughout the centuries through WebVentures, music theory, enrichment sites and other multimedia available. Instructor: Mr. Corey B.
