Scope and Sequence
Heritage Social Studies 11-12: US History: Then and Now
What could be more exciting than teaching your homeschooler the history you’ve already lived! We’ll start with then: the early exploration of the United States and we’ll move on chronologically learning about such things as slavery, wars and political administrations of a few of our presidents. You’ll discover the turn of the century with your homeschooler, who is bound to bombard you with questions as together you explore our history with a Christian perspective. You’ll come close to present-day America as you have the opportunity to discuss the War on Terror with your homeschooler. This is a fascinating must take course for Christian parents and their homeschooling children to discover together.
