Delight Driven Electives 9-12: Introduction to Psychology

In the homeschool course, Introduction to Psychology will allow homeschool students to investigate basic psychology, the mind and the brain. Homeschoolers will explore such topics as mood disorders, languages and dreams, depression and memory. The course will also delve into sleep disorders, Alzheimer’s Disease, schizophrenia and autism. Homeschoolers will also learn about the brain, its beginnings, mysteries and how external influences like drugs and environment affect it. This class is a video-intensive introduction to the theories and applications of psycholgy as well as some history on the subject. This is a great course for homeschoolers who are interested in how the body’s control center functions.
