Delight Driven Electives 9-12: Personal Finance
In Personal Finance, students will learn basic money management. Writing checks and balancing a checkbook are basic but crucial money management skills that everyone needs to know. Homeschool students will be introduced to the concept of cash versus credit, and will be shown effective ways to manage both. Personal Finance will teach homeschoolers about spending and saving strategies to ensure a positive financial outlook. Homeschool students will also learn how to create and follow a budget. This course explores the role of the Christian regarding money management, and teaches how to be a good steward of the assets with which we have been entrusted.
